I did it! A-Z bestiary project complete, thanks to 26 days of sketching, doodling, and wikipedia! Yay!
So, matter at hand, what next? This daily drawing stuff is very helpful, a sort of, breath of fresh air from larger projects, so I'd quite like to keep it up and try to develop more in that regard.
So, a few little options to see what you guys think I should focus on for the next... 3 weeks or so.
-Character Development Focus- more in-depth and detailed drawings of different characters from stories and otherwise.
-Expanded Bestiary- find some other order and keep going with as many cool monsters as I can find, more on the brainstorming side of things.
-Wardrobe Focus- Cos, apparently clothes and fashion matter, and I am not the most fashionable fellow around.
-Requests
I should learn to decide this stuff for myself, but internet conversations are fun :3

My "tree" of potential turtle evolutions is kinda hilariously broad. Want to see an alternate evolution for baby Sheltur, lil Shortoise, or old Shrubsage?
Delirious Progress
Heyall. So my daily drawing challenge did not last long- crashed really sick on sunday, but slowly been getting over it. Had time to sit and stew and brainstorm, and think I've more or less landed on a plan for the next few chapters again. Not sure how much writing I'll get done like this, but fun to get me in the mood, and a friend sent me some setting questions, which seem fun so here's some Q and A, and feel free to send other Questions! Are greek myth style cyclopses a thing? -In a style. I'd probably design them as asymmetrical, with some goat features like Harryhausen, and in the... big person range but not building sized. Like goliaths! What are some of the biggest class Cs? -Straight up answer- Kraken, bigger than whales. I imagine there's a bunch of big mystics down in the sea, leaning into lovecraft territory just from lack of connection to the surface world. On the surface, stuff like dragons, hydra, ammit, catoblepas, grootslang, average out around hippo to elephant

Happy New Year folks, hope you have a great one and enjoyed the holidays and a Merry Christmas. Looking into the new year, going to try and keep some momentum on writing Emergence anew, but also going to have a few other projects on the go, including dnd, art, and hopefully some animatics or animations.

Not much else to say! Chapter 33 will be rather delayed, we're closing in on some stuff I've been excited for since the rewrite began.

Bestiary Related:
What is each Mystic's lifespan?
Mating habits. (Seasons of fertility, what single-sex species do,non-corporeals such as Djinn and elementals, etc.)
Anything more on the legendaries (Those two Death creatures, Reaper and Grim, I think it was?)? What have they done, and where are they now (Might require own story)?
Social Orders and Territorial behavior--Live alone, groups, or massive clans?
What physical attributes are prized(You've shown gryphons are sensitive to flight capabilities.)?
Characters:
Are you going to give us any more info on Imolga's (Nessie's Mom) death? Obviously Nessie has gotten closure, but personally I'd like to know the specifics.
Some characters have one or both parents missing/undefined, perhaps a list of who is alive, missing, wants nothing to do with their children, is not aware, etc. is in order. (For their ref sheets, anyway.)
Wardrobe:
How are the shapeshifting clothes coming along? What's the fashion for Class 3s who don't want to be naked? Collars, Vests, Capes, Hats (Lots and lots of hats?)?
Other:
A timeline would be appreciated for critical world stuff. I am kinda confused on how the great unveiling (what was the event called in the world lore?) and how it went from one dragon escaping from a hospital (somewhat low key event, strangely) to new world order. How did the world at large learn about mystics?
