Description

So was doing some more concept art for the old troll and decided to add some text and put them all together in one image, showing more and more of him. I just remembered this one old section from Pilgrims Progress that sums him up quite well, "Doubting Castle", that niggling eternal doubt saying you're not good enough, that you'll never make it. Thats what the trolls like, except sometimes he gets a bit angry and acts more like a crushing doubt instead.

I kinda like him more on the top left one, because he's less visible, and his intent is not clear, not sure if he is a threat or not.

And i find that when he yells, he is less frightening because his goal is obvious, and he is so insistent in his speech that I find him, in a way, afraid and trying to be fearfull to protect himself. Maybe the way he repeats the "fail" thing. I dunno, just feels so much less threatning when something so uncertain (failure on an undetermined goal) is actualy tried to be brought so forcefully.

So yeah, I find him better in the one with the mirror, or the one next to it, with the psyckopath grin...
